Start with one useful plan.
Choose the chore chart maker to rotate tasks between people, or the cleaning builder to distribute weekly jobs across days. You can also open an editable template. Replace the sample names and tasks, then use the preview to check every page. On a small screen, “See your preview” and “Back to edit your plan” move between the two sections.
When the preview disappears.
Read the message above the editor. A plan needs a nonblank title and at least one task. Chore charts support 1–6 unique names, 1/2/4 weeks and up to 16 tasks. Cleaning plans support up to 20 weekly tasks and 5 daily habits; enter each weekly task as “Clean the sink | 5”. Each task name can have up to 72 characters. Export and save are available again once the fields are valid.
Why a cleaning day goes over its target.
The daily target is a planning prompt, not a hard limit. Longer tasks are assigned first to the day with the lowest total so far. A task stays together. For example, a 40-minute job still needs a 40-minute slot even with a 20-minute target. Split it into smaller real tasks, add an available day or reduce the list. The daily-habit list is additional time.
Save, restore and undo.
“Save in this browser” keeps one draft per tool on this browser profile. Opening a template does not replace that saved draft until you click Save. Reset restores an example without deleting a saved draft. Reset, room suggestions and draft deletion offer a one-step Undo below the save controls; use it before editing, saving or leaving the page. If a draft is deleted, the current preview stays on screen. Private browsing, cleared site data, a different device or a different website address can make a draft unavailable. We cannot recover it from a server.
Download on a phone or computer.
Choose US Letter or A4, then Download PDF. The download includes all pages, not only the visible preview. Check your browser’s downloads or the Files/Downloads app on your device. On browsers that open the PDF in a viewer, use its share or save control. If a browser blocks downloads, allow downloads for this site or try the Print button. Keep a separate PDF copy before clearing browser data. A downloaded PDF is a finished plan, not an editable draft.
Print a clean copy.
Match the paper size to your printer, select portrait, and check the print preview. Turn off browser headers and footers if the browser adds a URL or date. Downloaded PDFs use rendered page images; for selectable text, use the browser’s Print / Save as PDF option. Read the printing guide for the full workflow. No advertisements, menus or editing controls belong on the printable plan.
Privacy and shared devices.
The tools process your plan on your device. Saving is optional. Delete a saved draft or clear this site’s browser data when you no longer want it stored. A downloaded file is separate and must be deleted separately. See the privacy notice for website requests and storage details.
